When Do We Train?

Training sessions began on Tuesday 5 September and continue through until Tuesday 19 December. There will be no session during the week of half term.

Under 12 (Years 6 and 7): Tuesdays 6pm to 7pm

Under 14 (Years 8 and 9): Tuesdays 7pm-8pm

We charge termly, however, we are always interested in hearing from enthusiastic and talented young players, so please contact us to discuss joining our practice sessions at any stage in the coming season.

How Much Does It Cost?

We charge termly for all training sessions and we expect everyone to commit to the full term. There are two additional charges: one that covers the full season (September to June) for players who want to compete in Saturday matches (this is optional) and an annual Basketball England Membership is required of all members. The cost of this membership for the 23/24 season is £10. For more information on those costs, see the information in the Online Shop below and our Costs page.

Fastbreak League

For those players who would like to compete, we run Saturday matches. The league runs from September to June.

The league is at a central venue, which means all matches are at Cambourne Village College Sports Hall, Sheepfold Lane, Cambourne, Cambridge CB23 6FR.

The league is run for U10, U12 and U14 age groups in the current season.

All information about the league and the schedules can be found under the Tournaments heading.

Match Fees

The matches are optional and you only purchase them once for the entire season. If you have not paid for the match fees, you can go to do this by visiting the following page:

Basketball England Membership

In addition to match fees, the players are expected to become a Basketball England member and pay for a 'player' license. Please visit Basketball England membership portal to sign your child up:

Once you have joined Basketball England, you need to associate your child to 'CA5176 - Fastbreak United'. Our admin team will receive an email from Basketball England as soon as you have done so and we will be able to include your child to the relevant Team (e.g. Cambourne Raptors U12 etc)
