Working hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week


Location: One or more of our venues below: Cambridge, Cambourne, Northstowe, St Neots and St Ives plus working from home

Job description


Fastbreak Basketball is seeking a dedicated Club Manager with a strong background in basketball coaching, club development, and administration. In this role, you will manage both on-court activities and essential administrative duties, supporting the smooth running and growth of our club operations. You will work closely with coaches, referees, volunteers, and parents to ensure alignment with our club’s vision and standards.


About Fastbreak Basketball


Operating across five junior clubs in Cambourne, Northstowe, St Neots, St Ives, and Cambridge, Fastbreak Basketball offers both community and competitive programs. We run a local league for U11, U12, U14 and U16 age groups and manage National League teams under the Cambourne Falcons (U16 and U18) and Cambridge Kestrels (U12).


Key Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 Basketball England qualifications in the following areas:
    • Coaching
    • Refereeing
    • Table Official
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation
  • First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain)


Desirable Qualifications

  • One of the following:
    • Level 3 Coaching Qualification (Basketball England)
    • Level 3 Referee Qualification (Basketball England)
    • Level 4 Table Officiating (Basketball England)
  • Experience: 5+ years in Coaching, Refereeing, or Officiating
  • Education: Degree in a Sports-related subject
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
