How are the Group Stage Standings Calculated?
The higher the points (Pts), the higher the place.
Pts are calculated as follows:
- Winning a match gains your team 2 points
- Losing a match gains your team 1 point
- If a team does not turn up 0 points are gained by the absent team, while the present team gains 2 points. In addition to gaining 2 points, the present team wins 20-0 on the scoreline.
In the case of two teams with equal Pts, the higher difference between scored and conceded (Diff) will be in the higher place.
